House in Azille , Aude , Languedoc Roussillon

On a quiet road leading out of the village, this house is set in its own grounds, with large garden areas in front and behind, and room at the sides too! There's plenty of space to park as well as garden and enjoy oneself. The 1.4m deep pool has its own walled enclosure with decking to allow generous sunbathing and relaxing.

The front door leads into an entrance hall, and the L-shaped living room wraps around the Schmidt kitchen (installed 2 years ago) and the smart modern wood-burning stove. This whole area is 64m². It has reversible air conditioning and programmable electric radiators (excellent for energy economy).

Next to the kitchen is a 12m² study (or spare bedroom) with a door to the adjoining garage of nearly 20m², which has its own mechanic's pit.

At the end of the entrance hall is the large WC with basin, and next to this are two bedrooms of 20m² and 22m² respectively, with en suite shower rooms and fitted cupboards. There is also a large coat cupboard in the 20m² hall.

The village is 8 km from Olonzac, 3.8 km from La Redorte, 32 km from Carcassonne, 33 km from Narbonne, 50 km from Béziers, 50 km from the sea and 123 km from Spain (an hour and 20 minutes).
