LOCATION
Situated in a quiet lane close to the centre of the village which has a nice bar/restaurant about a 300 metre walk away. The nearest town is Civray about 10kms, which is a bustling and popular town and has a market twice a week selling local produce. There is also a new leisure centre with two heated swimming pools (one outdoor) and sauna, and lovely walks and picnic areas down by the river that winds its way through the centre of the town. Restaurants and small family-run cinema nearby.
The village of Sommieres-du-Clain is about 7kms away which offers a small grocery shop, bakery, bar, chemist, doctors surgery, bar/restaurant and hairdresser. The historic city of Poitiers is only 45kms away which also has an airport and train station.
