The long drive takes you uphill passing the front of the house on your left and acres of vines on your right. Parking is at the top of the driveway beside the house. A little of the village can be seen in the distance and then the landscape rolls away to hills and woodland.

The entrance is through a gate to a courtyard with splash pool. To your left the front door of the house into the kitchen and dining room (40.76m²) with exposed beams and stone walls, tiled floors and wood burner. The ceiling height is 4.27m at its highest point.

The buildings are 300 years old and the main house in particular has been restored to a large extent with some works to complete. Works that have been carried out in the last recent years include: new oil fired boiler in 2004 which operates under floor heating on the lower level of the house, reconditioning of the roof in 2014, double glazing throughout, stone walls and beams exposed and made good, new flooring, new bath and shower unit. In the dependence stone walls have been exposed, concrete floors laid, an electrical point is available, and plumbing is in place for the shower room.

On the other side of the driveway is a second garden partially used as a vegetable garden.

All in all a lovely property with an abundance of charm. There are a couple of neighbours so you don’t feel too isolated yet retain all the benefits of living in the countryside. Shops and restaurants a short 5 minute drive away.
