Plagne Bellecote ( 1930m) is one of la Plagne’s high altitude ski in ski out villages. It has a very French feel and a wide choice of bars, restaurants and shops. The lifts fan out in all directions making this a super convenient ski location. A free ski bus links Plagne Bellecote to Plagne 1800 and Plagne Centre whilst the Bellecote bubble links the village to Belle Plagne a few bends further up the mountain. Plagne Bellecote ( 1930m) is ideally placed to explore the whole La Plagne , Les Arcs, Paradiski ski area and is extremely easy to ski back to at the end of the day; perhaps finish with a vin chaud at the end of the day in Le Bonnet just above the village.
It has a good choice of restaurants and the very popular Spitting Feathers bar. The bubble link to Belle Plagne runs in the evening for a further choice of amenities.
In summer Plagne Bellecote is the busiest of la Plagne’s high altitude villages with the swimming pool being a very popular facility.
Mountain biking, walking, cycling, parapenting and down in the valley, white water rafting are just some of the activities on offer with the bars and restaurants open.
Self-drive. It is an approx. 10 hour drive from the main channel ports to the resort.
By rail. The nearest station is Aime La Plagne with regular bus and taxi services up to resort. In the ski season there is a direct Eurostar service to Aime La Plagne.
By air. Chambery, Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble are the main airports serving the resort.
