Stunning Manoir with fantastic views in beautiful countryside with its own park, meadow and woods, a 10 minute drive takes you into the local historic town of Saint-Benoît-du-Sault with supermarkets, shops, restaurants etc. It is a 15 minute drive in to the main town of Argenton-sur-Creuse with a direct rail link to Paris and 40 minutes to Chateauroux with its international airport.

The Manoir is set back from the road down a private driveway with a lovely wrought iron gate. Through the gate to the left is a long row of barns with an attached cottage at the far end. To the front but set back is a one bedroom detached cottage and to the right is the Manoir itself.

Enter through a large old door into a spacious reception area with a tiled floor, woodburner, and french doors out onto a huge terrace which overlooks the fields and woodland. There is a downstairs WC and stairs to the first floor.

To the left of the reception room is a cosy double aspect lounge with a huge open fire and an original feature stone sink. There is also a storage cupboard. To the right of the fire a door takes you into the kitchen diner area with wall and floor fitted cupboards, a tiled floor, a pantry and a separate utility room. There is a door down to one of the 3 cellars. The back door leads out to the terrace at the rear of the property.

On the first floor, on the left side of the property, is a landing area leading to a very large double aspect master bedroom with a beautiful wooden floor. An original old door leads through to a laundry/dressing area and on into a large bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and WC. Back off the laundry/dressing area is a door through to another double aspect bedroom with a gorgeous balcony. You can return to the landing through a separate door so this room can be used independently and there is a bathroom with a shower, sink and WC back out on the landing.

Further up the spiral staircase leads to a large stunning bedroom with windows all around and another lovely balcony. There is also an ensuite shower and WC. On the opposite side is a huge loft that runs along the length of most of the building.

Back down to the first floor, there is a door off the landing leading to another double aspect bedroom with built in cupboard and fireplace. Through this room there is another bedroom which also has a doorway into the middle landing so again can be used independently.

There is access to the right side of the Manoir either via a middle landing on the first floor or via a room on the ground floor, currently used as an office, which is to the right of the entrance reception room. The middle landing has a large storage cupboard and a door takes you into a huge room with a beautiful wooden floor, open fireplace and french doors to the rear of the property overlooking the moat and french doors to the front of the property. The room has lovely wooden panelling and would make a fantastic lounge area. At the far end of the room is a door to the right hand side of the building's tower. Here there is a door leading outside to the front of the property with a covered area with a WC handy for those garden parties.

The spiral staircase takes you up to the first floor where there is a small landing area with a bathroom with shower, sink and WC off it, there is a large storage cupboard and a door through to a really lovely beamed bedroom, which has a wooden floor and a stunning balcony with breathtaking views.

Further up the spiral staircase there is a large vaulted room with a high ceiling and a feature fireplace, stone window seats surround the room, a great space for a party. On one side of the room is a little stone stairway which takes you to the top of the tower with a really charming round bedroom and a bathroom with shower, sink and WC.

The property has oil central heating and is currently used as a holiday home, it does however have plenty of opportunity for further development and potential for use as a business, subject to the right permissions. It has extensive barn space and grounds approaching just under 25 hectares.
