There is a large organic vegetable plot with polytunnels. There has been a strong emphasis on creating a menu using local and homegrown foods here and using what is available in nature.

The pitches for camping are set in a large piece of land behind the main part of the retreat and there are areas for more secluded camping around the site. The current owners have decided to keep the camping here to 9 pitches but it is possible to ask for permission to have more and the land definately allows for many many more pitches or accommodations.
