This house is understated from the road so the inside is somewhat surprising with traditional features incorporated into the renovation.

From the front door you come into a hall (approx: 9m²) with the stairs leading up, a downstairs loo under the stairs and a bit of exposed stone adds character. The converted barn is to the right providing a huge, bright living/dining room (54 m²) where the manger trough has been incorporated into the design. This room benefits from underfloor heating and there are two huge windows on to the terrace where there is a pagoda providing shelter from the hot midday sun overlooking the swimming pool.

Stairs lead up from the sitting room to the mezzanine floor (about 16m²) which has a low beam (1 metre from the floor) but currently provides a study area and a double bed for occasional use. Under the mezzanine is the utility room housing the central heating boiler (oil) and plenty of room for washing machine and drier as well as the hot water tank and is also used as a handy cloakroom for boots and coats.

To the left of the front door is the original kitchen diner (27m²) with an open fireplace in the dining area and another fireplace at the other end of the room which has been closed up but could easily be re-opened. There is a half glazed door from the character kitchen out on to the terrace for ease of outdoor dining by the pool.

Upstairs there are three good-sized bedrooms (approx: 14m², 13m² & 12m²) , a landing and bathroom all with full sized windows so all the rooms are very bright. There is a staircase to the attic which is still an open space the surface area of the original house and could be converted into two further bedrooms if required.

The lovely terrace is immediately outside the back doors and provides a wonderful space to sit an enjoy the views over the garden and countryside beyond. There is a range of four little outbuildings and the garden extends a further 45 metres beyond the swimming pool terrace.
