This is one for the train spotters, because there is a railway line at the end of the garden and it is next to a level crossing. There are nine passenger trains a day from Caen to Le Mans, so nine times a day a train passes, none at night, and they are quiet. There are irregular freight trains.

Against that it needs finishing to make it attractive, and there is the railway. I grew up near a train line that in the busy periods had a train every five minutes, and never less than every fifteen minutes, and hand on heart it never bothered me or the family. But some it will.
The price of the house reflects this, so for someone like me it would make a good buy, as it did the current owners. But it's not for everybody.
