This large group of linked ancient stone buildings, is in a small village, without shops, but just 2 miles from the pretty village of Goudargues, famously known as the “Venice of the Gard ”. The village is in the 'Provence-Gard' region, in the Cèze valley, not far from the Cèze gorges, and just south of the Ardèche gorges. This is a big tourist region, with caves to visit, mediaeval villages, roman towns and ruins, and wine tasting with the famous Rhone Valley wines, and delicious local specialities to taste.
