Step into the welcoming entrance hall, glazed double doors straight ahead lead to an internal hall with the impressive turned staircase, to the left the Gallery, an inspiring room of 54m² with three sets of glazed double doors leading out to the terrace, and to the right another reception room currently a grand dining room, with more french windows leading outside. Leading from this room, double half-glazed doors to a further reception room which could be an extension of the dining room and a single solid door to another room, currently being used as a breakfast room but formerly the playroom, which is convenient if you are cooking and want your children nearby but not under your feet.. From here you walk into the kitchen which has a wonderful fireplace with an open fire and a large central island. The nearest village is Moulismes which is about 4km away and Persac is about 7km. Both villages have basic shops and some restaurants. For your grocery shopping, Lussac-les-Chateaux is a lovely market town about 11½ km away which has supermarkets (Intermarché and Lidl) and a weekly market on Friday mornings and a monthly market on a Thursday.

Access is easy too as the infrastructure is good - Poitiers is only 35 miles away and Limoges airport only 43 miles, so two good airports with low-cost flights to and from the UK. From Poitiers station you can get a TGV train direct to Paris in 90 minutes, or to London with one change, either in Paris or Lille.
