This house has the potential to be really something. The roof has recently been renovated and it is on mains drains, so all the costly stuff is sorted. It is a blank canvas as the interior of the house needs complete renovation but it has already been pretty much stripped back to the original walls and fireplaces.

The inside of this house is ready for your vision. There are two main rooms downstairs - the one on the left hand side of the house as you look at it is about 30m² and has the old bathroom in the corner (consisting of white bath, loo and basin) There is a blackened fireplace still with the pot hanger, and a wonderful old 'potager' (the cupboard specifically made to keep vegetables warm).The metal bowls are still there but sadly the stone is cracked. It might be worth getting repaired as there aren't many of these left nowadays. There is a nicely turned staircase leading to the upstairs bedroom which is a similar size and has another fireplace in it. There is a hatch to get up to the second floor. At the back of the room downstairs is a doorway which goes through to another room of about 18m² which needs a completely new floor but has a nice cupboard in the wall and a door to the outside.

The main room on the right hand side is about 26m² and has a kitchen sink in the front corner, another nice stone Poitevine fireplace and fully glazed French windows looking out over the garden. Again there is a small room behind (about 13m²) which has been used as a bedroom in the past. Above the right hand side is another room which is approached via an outdoor staircase and could be used as a further bedroom, once renovated.

The house is tucked away off the hamlet road behind a barn (which is not included in this sale but could be negotiated separately) and so is extremely private. There is a lovely south facing garden and then a beautiful orchard of fruit and nut trees of almost 1000m². A cement garage and some little stone hen houses complete the outbuildings.
