As you approach this fantastic property you are immediately struck by the impressive gated entrance and the substantial 'dressed granite' property within. Built around 1895 for members of the French and Belgian Nobility, this stunning building has been used as a hunting lodge, a ‘sanctuary’ for French resistance fighters, a hospital, a home for the elderly and now a family home.
As you climb the steps to the front doors it is just like stepping back in time. The grand entrance hallway, with original tiled flooring will keep the impression going as you can imagine meeting and greeting your friends for formal or informal parties.
To the left of the hallway is the first reception room (32m2) with a lovely ‘feature’ ceiling, wood burner and parquet flooring which is predominant in the rest of the house. Go through this room and you move into a further, bigger reception room (41m2) with another wood burner. This room is to the rear of the house and has a cosy feel to it despite being bigger than the first reception room.
