You are immediately impressed by the layout of this former ancient estate. The renovation has been impeccably done and everything says "quality". This property offered for sale is one of eight "high end" holiday homes and has been lovingly cared for, over the past few years.

There's real family accommodation provided with four double bedrooms (two en-suite) plus a well appointed family bathroom. The large sitting room with high ceiling and beams on view, has a huge wood burning fireplace. The big sunny kitchen / dining room is perfect for family get-togethers and to entertain friends. Just through a doorway from the kitchen is the elevated, private balcony with epic views of the nearby lake and rolling woodlands beyond!

There's a huge swimming pool (14m x 8m), full sized tennis court with umpires chair, boules court and lovely grounds in which to stroll ! The term "Co-proprietorship" or "co-prop" is is generally used to describe a small group of houses with shared land and perhaps a swimming pool. Each house is owned and maintained by the individual proprietor and the maintenance costs and communal taxes of the surrounding land, gardens, pool and tennis court etc. are shared equally with the other properietors. The maintenance contracts are under the control of the proprietors.

Typically numbering six or seven dwellings, and often designed by an architect, they are usually professionally restored farm buildings, retaining the original character and features but incorporating modern amenities such as good insulation, double glazing, en-suite bathrooms etc.

On the other hand, most properties will have its own terrace and outside dining area which can be personalised with a few plants, herb garden, barbecue etc. and enjoyed privately in the sunshine.
