The location of this fantastic property has the benefit of being wonderfully peaceful and private, yet just a 15-minute walk from both the the centre of the medieval village of Nernier (1 km), and from neighbouring Messery (1.2 km). Nernier and Messery both have lake-front beaches, and Nernier has a lovely harbour. Messery has a range of shops, including a small supermarket, two bakeries, a butcher, a post office, two hairdressers and a beauty salon. For nursery and primary schools, look no further than Messery, where they are very well-regarded.
Nernier and Messery have a real community feel, with a harmonious mélange of French locals and expats from all corners of the globe, many of whom commute to Geneva by road (around 30 minutes, 22 km), or to Nyon by boat, on a daily basis (20-minute crossing from Nernier in summer or Yvoire year-round).
