The Chalet...
Chantemerle is one of the main villages that make up the Serre Chevalier Ski Domain. It has its own "old quarter" where all of the houses and chalets date back hundreds of years.
This completely renovated property sits on the corner of a lovely peaceful square that is just 150 m walk from the bottom of the Luc Alphand piste. There is a ski room and storage with boot dryer and also the large vaulted service room. In here is the boiler, washing machine and dryer and utility area. It is where all ski equipment can be easily dried and aired. The room is large enough to have a small workshop, gym or sauna. There is a downstairs toilet and sink on this level.
The first floor has a large twin bedroom, TV lounge and a beautifully tiled bathroom with W.C. walk-in shower and bath.
The next floor is the main living level, with a perfectly arranged kitchen which leads through double doors to the stylish lounge. There is a stone fireplace with a wood-burning stove and wooden floors and exposed beams throughout. The large, sliding doors, open on to the balcony and terrace that looks over the square and the Luc Alphand ski piste. The terrace also provides an outdoor eating area and a place to relax outdoors. There is an outside staircase to the kitchen on the side of the house and its balcony has space for a wood store. There is an external storage cupboard on the ground floor for sleds and outdoor equipment.
The fourth floor has 2 more bedrooms - which are both doubles. The double has modern fitted wall units and subtle light fittings. In between the bedrooms is a contemporary bathroom, walk-in shower and W.C with quality light fittings. One of the bedrooms has a large, external terrace and more storage for outdoor furniture.
There is a staircase to the fifth floor where there is currently a large office and extensive storage cupboards. This room was previously a large, twin bedroom.
ALL of the bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and are spacious and all have plenty of natural light, windows and skylights.
The entire property has been finished with care and detail to a very high standard. This is without question a prestige chalet which, because of its location and decoration, could be used to make a considerable rental return for its new owners.

It is a popular destination throughout the year and for the Winter and Summer seasons
Chantemerle connects to the rest of the Serre Chevalier ski domain
( all 250 kms ) via the 2 high speed lifts which rarely see queues.
This winter, Serre Chevalier enjoyed great snow which was supplemented with its awesome snow making system. It assured open pistes right at the start of the season when many other ski resorts were closed.
