You enter the apartment into a short corridor, with a door to a separate bathroom to the left and a bedroom area to the right. Ahead of you is a door to the main living room.
The bathroom (2.4 m2) has a small bath, an over-bath shower, wash basin & toilet and the water heater.
The bedroom area (4.4 m2 including the adjacent corridor) has 2 bunk beds, each with their own reading light, and there is a storage draw underneath. There is also a main light and electric heater.
Walking into the main studio living room (11.6 m2), you’ll find an open plan corner kitchenette to the left with double sink and drainer, fridge and 2 ring hob. There is also a dining area with table and chairs separated from the kitchen area by a small moveable island storage unit. The lounge area, which also serves as an additional sleeping area at night, has a fold-out double sofa bed and electric heater. Off the lounge area is a built-in floor-to-ceiling storage cupboard. Exiting this room through the double glazed doors takes you out onto the sunny south-facing balcony terrace (4.4 m2) which overlooks traditional farm buildings and hillside fields with views of the mountains.
The apartment has its own dedicated ski locker (2.1m high x 56cm deep x 57cm wide) located in a room on the ground floor off the entrance hall – perfect for storing skis or other outdoor equipment when you return from the mountains.
The apartment is set within a modern yet traditional-styled and beautifully maintained apartment complex situated in a quiet corner at the heart of the village.
The main draw for the village is its proximity to skiing, and its being on the route to the Col du Tourmalet, one of the most famous and iconic cycling climbs of the Tour de France. There are also lots of hikes around the area and lots of exciting adventure activities within easy reach. Bagnères de Bigorre, with its lively market on Saturday with plenty of locally produced fresh produce, restaurants, supermarket and bars, is just a short drive away.
