About the area, within a 15-minutes drive, you have a golf course, several nice restaurants to go for a bite and a drink, lakes, canoeing even Saint Emilion is at 40 minutes drive. Within an hour's drive, you have Bordeaux with its lovely center and its international airport and Bergerac Airport.
The closest hospital is in Barbezieux (20-minutes drive), or Angoulême (40 minutes drive).
