Having been run by its current owners as an exclusive fishing holiday destination, the business has seen massive expansion and success. There are two fishing lakes attached to this property which are used for fishing throughout the rental season- one 6 acre lake and one 5.5 acre lake which has Cassini Status. Both lakes are stocked with three strains of Mirror Carp as well as Grass, Leather and Common Carp varieties. The average size of Carp from the 6 acre lake is 35lb (with at least 4 Carp being over 50lbs and the largest being 55lbs) and the 5.5 acre lake average is 42lb (with at least 15 carp over 50lb and a confirmed 4 carp being above 60lbs with the largest being a little under 68lbs). All Carp in the smaller lake are micro-chipped. Both lakes meet current DDT regulations. There is also a third 1.5 acre lake currently being used as a stock lake but has been opened for fishing occasionally.
This property also has a well, an orchard with various fruit trees and planning permission for a further building which could be used to expand the business with another guest cottage.
