The B&B has been set up with a particular appeal for motorbiking holidays, with many quiet rural roads in the area and the Circuit du Val de Vienne under 30km away.
The house is a solid Maison de Maitre set in its own grounds. It is in a quiet location but only about 2 kms from a busy village with amenities.

GROUND FLOOR
A huge well-equipped lounge (46.5 m²) with a wood burning stove and access to the hall, the garden and the kitchen. The kitchen (15.2 m²) is equipped to commercial standards with stainless steel worktops. A room off the entrance is set aside as an office (10 m²). With an appeal to the motorbiking fraternity, the house is only used for rental from early May until late September, but still offers a healthy turnover (figures available after a visit). With a longer season and a targeted approach to marketing the property, it isn't hard to imagine the current turnover being increased two- or three-fold.

AREA
Bussière-Poitevine is midway between Poitiers and Limoges with the main road between the 2 cities close by. It is a good stopping off point for travellers heading north to sout or west to east. The town/village offers a good range of amenities with a small supermarket, a butchers, bakers, bank, post office, hairdressers, medical centre, a hardware store with a comprehensive stock, plus a couple of bars and restaurants. The bigger towns nearby (Bellac (20km) and Montmorillon (24km)) offer a wider range of options. The international airport at Limoges (56km or 53 minutes) has flights to the UK throughout the year. The port of Caen is the nearest and is about 4.5 hours drive.
