This is a gorgeous little house, ready to move into and offers an idyllic lifestyle for a very affordable price if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and get closer to being self-sufficient. A lovely 20 minute walk (1.5 km) through the woods to the village of Moussac which has a popular bar/restaurant and a canoe/kayak centre and a dynamic social community. The beautiful and popular market town of L'Isle Jourdain is 4.7 km in the other direction (just under an hour's walk) which has all amenities, a good selection of cafés and restaurants as well as schools and a bi-monthly market.

The inside of the house is approached through the veranda (approx: 11.5 m²) which faces south-west and provides a great addition to the indoor living space. From the front door there is a long hallway (approx: 7.5 m²) which goes all the way to the back of the house and has a good sized cupboard at the end for your coats and shoes; off to your right is the kitchen (approx: 11.5 m²) which has fitted units and two ovens: a gas oven and a wood burning oven. To your left is the sitting room (approx: 24 m²) which has a wood-burning insert fire in the brick built fireplace, as well as a large electric radiator and french windows leading out into the veranda. There is a bedroom (about 14 m²) on this floor and a bathroom with a bath and separate walk-in shower and a basin and the loo is next door in a separate room.

The stairs lead out of another small hall and are quite steep but on the first floor are two further bedrooms, both built into the eaves so have limited headroom so perhaps not ideal as permanent bedrooms unless their occupants are very short (ideal for small children).

There is a garage or workshop attached to the house and accessible both from inside and outside the house and a larder type wine-cellar behind the workshop. Through another door from the courtyard is a further garage/store room with the door leading to the back garden, which is on the side of the hill. There is another large concrete garage set a little apart from the house, and the flat garden with the vegetable patch, poly-tunnel, chicken coop and various other useful outbuldings.
