Tucked away in a little hamlet between Lye and Chateauvieux, this lovely cottage has been carefully and tastefully modernised over the years. Lye and Chateauvieux have plenty of commerce between them and if wine is your thing then perhaps a myriad of wine producers nearby can't be a bad thing. Zoo Parc Beauval (13km) is also close by and St Aignan (10km) with its shops and restaurants is also within easy reach. Read more ...

This is wine-making and farming country and some of our favourite wine comes from nearby. Zoo Parc Beauval is reputedly one of the top 15 zoos in the world and has a great reputation for it endagered species breeding programme.
The local village is a nice quiet place within an area of principally arable farming. There are fields of vines here and there and the wildlife is abundant with deer, red squirrels, buzzards and kestrels to be seen on a regular basis.
• Ground Floor.
Entrance hall (3.5m2), Kitchen (16.3m2) with full range of fitted units and equipment, to the right a living room (26.5m2) with beamed ceiling, terracotta tiled floor and chimney with woodburner insert. From the entrance to the left a dining area (12m2) and staircase up to first floor. Beyond the dining area (12m2) is a useful workshop and utility area (16m2).
• First Floor.
Landing area at the top of the stairs giving access to four bedrooms (18m2, 17m2, 9m2, 9m2), a family bathroom (4.5m2) and another useful area used as an office (12m2). two areas of loft for storage.
• Outside and immediately by the cottage is a small courtyard with a corner seating area under a roof. Opposite the house on the other side of the quiet hamlet lane are further areas of garden including another covered seating area and an above ground swimming pool.

• Building plot. Further down the lane is a separate plot of land which would be suitable for a caravan or could be built on (within the hamlet area but requiring permission for the actual construction proposed). The size of land (2358m2) is such that a reasonable size of house could be envisaged here. There are proposals for connecting the entire hamlet to a new soil waste processing system to be installed further down the lane.
