Jurançon and the Béarn are easily accessible from the airports in Pau, Biarritz and Tarbes-Lourdes - and the area is well served by regular train and bus services. As well as the newly renovated covered market in Pau, many of the local towns and villages have weekly farmers’ markets. A great choice of lively bars and restaurants can be found throughout the Béarn!
There are many excellent schools and the collège-lycées in the area offering a range of studying options (some in English), along with the chance to specialise in theatre, dance, sports… and even horse riding! The International School in Pau (English) also has a very good reputation.
