About my area

I live in the heart of France with my husband, Martin, who is also a Leggett agent. Located in the southern part of Centre-Val de Loire, our region is officially known as the Indre, but still holds on to its ancient Berry name and heritage. Rural and bucolic, this area is a little-known gem, boasting unique wines, natural environments, incredible chateaux and beautiful gardens. Loved by writers, artists, musicians and creatives for its romance and culture, this is where George Sand based her world-renowned novels, Chopin created most of his works for piano, and Jacques Tati filmed Jour de Fête.

About me

Moving to France in 2012 was the start of an adventure like no other for us. We have bought twice, sold once, applied for planning permissions, renovated and lived the French culture. When we arrived in Central France, we knew that we’d found our forever home, after seeing an old fermette, typical of the Indre, with land, barns and all manner of shelters that were perfect for the menagerie of animals we’d collected since moving to France. Now, as property agents, we are truly living the dream. There is probably very little that we haven’t experienced in terms of French property, and we’d like to think that our knowledge, and love of this region, can help you achieve your property goals.
