Exceptional snow conditions and a wonderful ski area of 400 hectares....The 3 large lakes surrounding the Aravis mountain range combined with a favourable geographical aspect are major contributing factors to the heavy snowfalls in the La Clusaz area. The four massifs in the ski area provide good quality skiing in a protected natural setting from December to late April. Have you ever skied through a forest of fir trees whilst listening to the rustling of the fresh snow beneath you? Come and experience this, along with many other magical sensations. With more than 6 metres of cumulated snow, La Clusaz is one of the few French resorts to enjoy such excellent snow conditions, you don't need to go up to 3 000 metres to enjoy powder snow until the spring ! Summer and winter alike a multitude of activities await you, skiing, golf, tennis, hiking in the snow or summer pastures. This is the birthplace of the famous Reblochon cheese, still made in in local farms. After spending a year in Switzerland, I moved back to the UK and realised that a permanent move was what I really wanted. I had the opportunity to live and work in the French alps and have honestly never looked back. I couldn't think of a better place to live, fresh air, sunshine, skiing in the winter, long hot summers on the lakeside, stunning scenery, what more could you ask for ? That was nearly 25 years ago. I work closely with my partner who is a French architect, designing, buying, building, renovating and finding property for clients that's our everyday life !
