The Courchevel valley really does have it all: The ski resort of Courchevel has 5 main villages each with their own identities. There is the high end luxury village of Courchevel 1850, the pretty, original village of Le Praz, as well as Moriond/1650 with its shops, restaurants and gentle ski area, Courchevel Village /1550 with its easy access to 1850 and the impressive new Aquamotion sports and swimming pool complex and then at 1300m there is the fantastic family resort of La Tania. Each village has direct access to the 600M of ski runs of the 3 Valleys with 339 Alpine ski pistes,163 ski lifts and more than 2100 snow canons. There are also multiple cross country tracks and ski randonee pistes as well as lakes and forests to enjoy on foot. There are numerous other small hamlets in the area, and at the foot of the valley is the year round larger village of Bozel with its shops, bars, swimming lake and mountain views. Two other ski resorts are also in this area, Champagny with direct access via skilift to the Paradiski and Pralognon tucked up at the end of the valley. The property options are so varied here and include apartments, luxurious chalets with swimming pools and spa areas, new build chalets and apartments as well as traditional stone and wooden village homes and uninhabited barns ready for conversion. The area is fantastic for summer and winter holidays or year round living. Life can be as active with outdoor activities as you want it to be, or you can just sit back and admire the stunning views wherever you look.

About me

After arriving in Courchevel in 1995 for my first ski season I instantly fell in love with the mountains and all they have to offer. One winter soon became many and then, in 2006 I made Courchevel my permanent home with my two children and husband. With the children at local schools and Courchevel Ski Club, and running a busy physiotherapy business as well as our own property portfolio I have developed a sound understanding of the local housing market and opportunities available.
