About my area

The Herault is truly the land of grape vines and olive trees. With beautiful sandy beaches to the south and the Cevennes mountains to the north, it’s diverse landscape is scattered with historic, medieval villages and culturally rich towns like Montpellier and Beziers. Great food, fantastic wine and endless days of summer sun, this region, with it’s more simplistic outlook on life compared to some if it’s more glamorous neighbours, appealed to us when we decided to move here and we continue to love it.

About me

I came to the Herault 15 years ago with my husband, after spending many years in the hustle and bustle of London. We were just married and looking for a new adventure, so when the opportunity arose for my husband, a builder, to come and do some work in Clermont L’Herault, we jumped at the chance and have never looked back. Our 3 children were born here and have the amazing advantage of being bilingual, but also of growing up in such beautiful surroundings. I had been working in London as an interior designer and have always taken an active role in my husband’s building company, so property has long been a major influence in our lives. Joining Leggett seemed the logical next step to me, helping others to find their dream property, in the wonderful laid back lifestyle of the South of France. Come and join us!
