About my area

Located in the Southern Alps I cover the geographical area to the east of Grenoble, reaching as far as the world famous big mountain off-piste ski resort of La Grave. There are many small ski resorts located in this area such as Ornon, Oz, Vaujenay and Venosc many of which are linked to the two largest and more well known resorts of Alpe d’Huez and Les Deux Alpes which has one of the largest skiable glaciers in Europe. This diversity in mountain locations provides a great variety of properties encompassing different styles and materials for those wishing to experience the alpine lifestyle on a permanent basis or purely on vacation. From magnificent stone built eighteenth century conversions to ultra modern wooden chalets or just a small studio apartment there is something to suit everyone.

About me

After a varied career in education, social work and entertainment I decided to take a break and in 2001 I experienced my first ski season. After finding a position with a well known tour operator I was sent to the Southern Alps as the Rep for Serre Chevalier. A few months later I found myself finishing off the season in Les Deux Alpes. From then on I was in love with the area and what it offered not only in terms of lifestyle but in terms of climate. For me personally, the skiing and snowboarding in the winter and walking and biking in the summer are just awesome. After my second season my colleague and I set up and operated a chalet business to cater for season workers and ski bums, however after two successful years and an unsuccessful attempt to buy our beloved ‘Chalet Mix’, I decided once again to follow my rock’n’roll heart, exercise the vocal chords and start yodelling. I have always had a keen interest in property and have been involved in renovating and restoring old barns, houses, chalets and apartments, back in Scotland and over here. The natural progression was to become involved in selling them. I consider myself extremely fortunate to live and work in such a beautiful part of the world with so many things to offer. Life here has its own challenges but that is all part of the fun. I look forward to being able to help others with the same sense of adventure and passion for the mountains, realise their dream and find the ideal place to have fun.
