About my area

I live in a small village which is nestled in the stunning Finistère countryside, yet I am also surrounded by many lovely, old market towns. The beautiful Monts d’Arrée and the Parc Naturel Régional d’Armorique are also both within easy reach and provide superb hiking opportunities in an outstanding area. With the breath-taking west Finistère coast being about 40 minutes away and the north coast being approximately an hour away, there really is something for everyone here and so much to love about this region – the climate, the scenery, the coastline and the very friendly locals, who are incredibly welcoming. How lucky am I to live here?!

About me

Having been an Accident and Emergency nurse and then an Intensive Care nurse for 20+ years, directly from leaving school, and having always loved travelling, I decided a good number of years ago that I really wanted to fully experience living in other cultures. So, I moved my life to Italy, which I absolutely loved and where I lived for several years. However, I had always had a hankering to live in France and so, 6 years ago, I moved from Italy to Brittany and I have never looked back! As someone who loves to walk and who enjoys spending time in the countryside or on the coast, I am living in my ideal place. I plan to build on my love of all things nautical by undertaking sailing courses and, when land based, use my land to become more self sufficient where fruit and vegetables are concerned, providing one of my 3 dogs or 7 cats doesn’t dig everything up!! This, and my work with Leggett Immobilier, really does make me feel as though I’m living the good life. I’d be very happy to help you find your ideal property so that you can live yours!
