About my area

It is home to the famous Limousin cattle after all! Named after the Creuse River, with the Taurion, Gartempe and Petite-Creuse rivers also winding through the department and the rolling green hills of the Massif Central mountain range, Creuse is a beautiful department to explore. Also benefiting from a warm, typically dry, climate, La Creuse is the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful retreat amongst idyllic countryside.

About me

Originally from Cheshire, I have spent my holidays in France for the last 25 years and have explored many of its beautiful and varied regions. After spending a lot of time in Provence, I decided it was time to get to know a different part of the country and searched high and low for my new home. By chance, I discovered La Creuse and fell in love with its stunning natural beauty, its pretty stone villages, the friendliness of its people and the slow pace of life. I moved here permanently in 2017, buying my home from Leggett Immobilier! I love my life here and would love to help you make the move, to do the same.
