We live in the Côtes-d’Armor department at the north point of Brittany, in this beautiful region known as the Goëlo coast which enjoys an unspoilt, old-world charm and authenticity. Maybe it’s the Celtic spell, but there is definitely a wild and magical aspect to so much of the landscape here both along the coast and in the countryside. Whether you are looking for an occasional holiday home or a permanent residence, the Cotes d’Armor is an absolute treasure trove of beautiful but affordable properties; and whilst they’re all decidedly Breton, there’s an incredible variation to choose from: fisherman’s cottages; farmhouse longères; Neo-Breton villas; fairytale turrets and châteaux; secluded riverside moulins and traditional stone houses all find their place here. And with such easy proximity to the UK there’s no excuse not to come discover them, the Breton magic and your dream life in France!

About me

Yannic was living in Brittany and Helen in the south east of England when their paths crossed one fine evening in a Brighton pub*; but thanks to Brittany Ferries and DFDS Seaways our cross-channel Anglo-Franco/Breton romance flourished and two years on we now live together in Yannic’s native Côtes d’Armor with an assortment of animals including pygmy goats and mini-sheep from the Breton island of Ouessant. We adore this region and enjoy nothing more than walking our dog on the many amazing beaches, or hiking along the extraordinary coastline that is just a short drive away. Helen can also be found galloping horses along the sand at low tide or riding through the lush Breton countryside whilst Yannic prefers his horsepower with an engine and at least two wheels! With all the other delights that come with Brittany – warm and friendly people, delicious cuisine, charming architecture and the world’s best cider, this really is a little paradise; and we consider ourselves lucky to have a job which allows us to help others find their corner of it too. *The Hand in Hand in Kemptown – go there it’s fantastic!
