About my area

I am delighted to be an Agent for Leggett, offering a variety different properties covering the south of the Vienne and northern Charente areas. This area offers the peace and tranquility in the heart of the French countryside with an abundance of green fields, sunflowers and blue skys synonymous of French summers. Larger cities, such as Poitiers, Limoges, Angouleme and Niort all easily accessible within approximately an hour’s drive.

About me

My first visit to France was truly unforgettable, I loved everything, the food, the people, the lifestyle, the weather, fields filled with sunflowers and the long sunny summer days. Many years later I was lucky enough to buy a small holiday home and every holiday it became harder and harder to leave. I finally moved to France full-time in 2014 and couldn’t be happier, having lots of friends, a life with no stress and roads with very little traffic. I live in a small village between the historic town of Confolens and Civray. My village has a lot to offer lot for a small French village, having a boulangerie, a number of bars/restaurants, a tabac and an epicerie. I enjoy long country walks daily on local nature trails in the open fields and woodland listening to the leaves on the trees blowing in the wind, the birds singing, the fragrance of wild flowers, truly enjoying and appreciating the beauty of the French countryside……...
