About me

A registered nurse in UK and Belgium, a realtor in Canada and later a hotel barge pilot and Captain on France’s inland waterways, it was here I met and married my husband, a highly acclaimed chef on board one of those unique, luxury vessels. When an unexpected health issue caused us to move ashore, my affinity with the French language led to a degree in translation and opened the way to Membership of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and fascinating work as a professional translator. A chance encounter with a Languedoc-based French estate agency owner led me to pool some of my acquired skills with a pleasure in dealing with people in general and the Real Estate business in particular and to take up the post of agency manager. Some years and much training later and I was ready to join forces with the dynamic, multilingual and multicultural Leggett team as an independent agent.
