About my area

I live in a small village called Carnoët, which is home to the 'Valley of the Saints'. These are superb sculptures of all the Saints, set on a hilltop with panoramic views and by the quaint church of Saint Gildas. No traffic, apart from tractors and cows. We have a local shop, restaurant/bar, school and post office and the Mairie staff are always helpful. Carnoët also has the Forêt de Fréau with great walks for the dog and is very close to the 'Voies vertes' (greenways) which are hundreds of kilometres of former railway lines which are available for walking, cycling and horse-riding. We are surrounding by lots of picturesque villages and our nearest beach is just 40 minutes away. With so many things to do in Brittany, including, walking, canoeing, horse riding, sailing, golf, fishing or even trying out Breton dancing, there is something for everyone. The Breton people are extremely friendly and are always happy to include you. Brittany has the most beautiful unspoiled coastlines where it is easy to recharge your batteries.

I have lived in France for 18 years. Ten years in the Côte d'Azur and 8 in the Côte d'Armor and I have loved every minute. I currently live in a Farmhouse that my husband and I renovated. It is set in 4 hectares which is ideal for my three horses.
