Prices: When a house is sold through an estate agent in France, there are three elements to the sale price: net vendeur (price to seller), estate agent's commission (typically 6 - 10% of the net vendeur price but with a fixed fee for very low price properties), notaire's fee (fixed by the French government and on a sliding scale according to the net vendeur price. The vast majority of this fee is stamp duty).

On our frenchestateagents.com website, our property prices include  net vendeur and agent's commission. We do not normally include the notaire's fee as the exact amount of this, although regulated by a government tariff, can depend on the sale circumstances, the amount of work involved for the notaire and whether you are taking a mortgage or not. You will not be asked to pay an extra 'management fee' or 'service charge' for what we regard as normal customer service!
