This character property in the 1950’s style, built with the first ever pool in the village which still is perfectly functioning, is situated up the road from Faucon to Mollans, at only 5 minutes from the village with all amenities.

The house is in a small village hamlet, and yet isolated, well planted in a beautiful garden with view on the Mont Ventoux and lovely old trees. Here we are at one of the rare places where the mistral hardly ever blows.

Ground floor
The glass-and-wooden front door, just under the porch to one of the terraces, opens to a small hall and stairs leading up to the first floor. On the left handside is the internal entrance to the downstairs apartment.

The apartment
The apartment, in use for seasonal rentals, has a living (almost 20m²) with a kitchen part. Glass doors opening to a private covered terrace, leading to the pool and the garden, and windows on the other side of the room give a bright impression. All the floors are tiled, so here as well.

Next to the living are a bedroom for 2 (13,6m²), a separate toilet with a small wash basin, a second bedroom (12m²) for another 2, a bathroom (3,3m²) with shower and wash basin.

On the same level is also a workshop (9m²).

First floor
Climbing the stairs, we arrive in the corridor of the main house, separated from the stairs to the apartment by a glass door.

The main room is the bright living (32m²) with a woodburner and windows and glass doors to 3 sides. 2 glass door sets lead to the balcony, south-west facing, which has a lovely view upon the mountains. The tiles are original.

Double glass doors open to the kitchen (almost 18m²) with enough space for a dinner table. The shape of the windows is really authentic 1950’s and gives the house a lovely ambiance.

In the corridor we find a separate toilet with wash basin, a bathroom (>7m²) with bathtub, cupboard and wash basin. A bedroom (13,5m²) with a cupboard and at the end of the corridor another cupboard. A second bedroom (13,5m²) is in use as an office, and has typical windows on both east and south.

The garden is well kept and offers shadowy and sunny places. There are 2 sheds for garden furniture and a terrace covered by a magnificent glycine for hotter days.

Around the pool on the other side of the house is space to relax. The view on the surrounding mountains is nice.

Second floor
The second floor is an attic, which is only suitable for storage purposes, as it is accessed by a door outside and only sufficiently high in the middle part.

Central heating with oil and wood in the woodburner manage to have a very comfortable place during the Provencal wintertime, which is extremely bright and sunny, most of the time. The many opening doors and windows create fresh air in the heat of the summertime.

Water is paid water for the most, but the garden and pool get their water from an adjacent canal.

This is a perfect property for those who would like to live in the Provence with an income from seasonal rentals.
