What can I say about this particular part of the Dordogne. Well having travelled extensively in other parts, this is the place to come back to. With rolling hills, woodland and beautiful rivers, it seems to me to have just about everything that rural France can offer. It's tranquil, trendy and handy for everything; so you have lively villages, small towns and cities for all your domestic and cultural needs and yet you can still lose yourself in your own little piece of paradise. Beaches and skiing are accessible for weekends without the hassle of living there. It's the ideal mix, and I can tell you it hasn't changed much in the last 26 years!

About me

I am an experienced Estate Agent having started in the business over 27 years ago selling initially in the UK and then in Spain and France. We used to holiday regularly in different parts of France, and one year decided to explore the South West of France for a change. Within 4 days on an Easter break we had bought our holiday home just outside Riberac, that was 26 years ago! It had a barn and when we had the money, we converted it into a four bedroomed home. When I retired we moved over permanently and bought a small hotel restaurant which we ran successfully for 8 years and have now sold. We have found that the local communities mingle together; French, British and many other nationalities in a friendly and helpful way. We have never looked back since buying our holiday home, I would recommend it to anyone who has an outward look on life and feel through my experiece of buying, converting and running a small business in France I can certainly help you make the right choices and give you the help and assistance that is needed. My job is to make the whole experience of coming to France, looking at potential properties, through to completing your purchase, as easy and pleasurable as it could be. It's a lovely feeling of achievement and satisfaction once you are installed in the home of your dreams whether it be a holiday home or permanent residence. It makes my job a pleasure too!!
