Chamonix, home of the first Winter Olympics, is one of the most popular destination for mountain enthusiasts coming from all over the world, willing to share their love for mountaineering and nature, and to breathe the air of this legendary valley at the feet of the Mont Blanc. Chamonix and its villages and hamlets perfectly mantain a balance between a respectful preservation of the natural enviroment and the tourist and transport needs. It’s very well connected as Geneva is only a one hour drive, and Italy is at less than 30 minutes thanks to the Mont Blanc Tunnel There is something for everyone all year round in the valley which also includes Les Houches, Servoz, Argentiere and Vallorcine: Winter playground for keen skiers and snowboarders on and off piste, untouched and unspoilt routes for ski touring, but also nice paths for snowshoeing. Spring, summer, and autumn heaven with kilometers of trails suitable for every kind of hiker and mountain biker, then tennis, golf, paragliding, climbing, and many other outdoor activities.
I was born in Turin, Italy, where i have lived for almost 40 years. Beautiful town surrounded by hills and mountains. I got to know the Chamonix valley thanks to my great passions: mountains and trail running. And the first time i came here it’s been love at first sight! And finally, after almost 14 years of banking job i decided to move and live in the mountains. That has been my dream come true, and my aim with Leggett is to help those who, like me, dream of a mountain life in the stunning French Alps.View French-Alps Information Homepage
