About my area

My area covers parts of the beautiful North Var Region and Alpes de Haute Provence. This is Authentic Provence! It is a region of ancient hilltop villages, stunning scenery and lavendar fields. The turquoise Lac de Ste Croix and the Gorges du Verdon, is the largest canyon in Europe and a protected National Park.

About me

Because “You only live twice” or once! In French coup de foudre, "stroke of lightning," also "love at first sight" Coup de coeur - a blow of the heart. My first visit to this stunningly beautiful part of Provence was literally this and I knew that one day I would make it a place to call home. Provence fills all your senses. An experience never to forget. The perfumes of sunshine and heat on rosemary, thyme and fields of lavender. Warm bread from the boulangerie; The sights of the turquoise Lac de St Croix, and the wild and spectacular Gorges du Verdon. The sounds of cicadas on a hot Summer night or the bustle of a busy market day. Beautiful hill top villages and the kindness of local people that I am now privileged to know. All easily accessed from the international airports at Nice and Marseille I am from Scotland and have made the move to live here!
