Behind the kitchen is a room, currently used as an office, which has a door out to the large back garden. There is also a downstairs shower room with WC with hand basin.
Upstairs, the character continues, starting with a gorgeous turning oak staircase, and here we have the 3 bedrooms. All have exposed beams and timber frame and plaster walls, and the chestnut and oak flooring add to the warm country feel.
The most beautiful bathroom just tops this house off, with roll-topped bath, and hand built oak vanity unit. In addition the careful use of roof windows ensures the upstairs, whilst having character, is lovely and light.
The garden is large and fairly level with a large wildlife pond, and many mature fruit trees such as quince, damson, and apples.
In addition, we have a bread oven, a well, workshop (40m²) and a large barn, which separates the barn from the neighbour’s house.
The small but rambling hamlet consists of a few houses, and is a short drive or cycle ride from a village with a bar/restaurant.
