Intrepid explorers required to discover the secret.
Opposite the mill is the enormous shepherd’s barn, dating from mid 1800s but extended in 1880. A stone built high barn, 12m x 8m with good stone walls and renovated roof with stunning original beams.
The stables, too, are in good condition and have a hay loft above. Other outbuildings include a workshop, tractor shed, open stable, open wood store and mower shed.
Hidden at the back of all these buildings, beside the orchard, is a little house which has been partially renovated to make a glass fronted artist’s studio.
There is a lawned courtyard behind the house and further lawns and kitchen garden. Around the courtyard are a line of 4 sheds, each the size of a garage and all with an attic above.
The valley has wild boar, deer and all manner of wildlife since this is an area of no hunting and is totally private without any public footpaths or rights of way across the land.
