From the front door there is a hall with a tiled floor and double storage cupboards, with doors leading to the kitchen, dining room, sitting room, stairs, downstairs WC and store room.
Kitchen/Dining room (7m x 4m). This large room has a modern fitted kitchen with a window to the front, tiled floor and a double sink with plenty of cupboard space. Box room (2.5m x 1.5m). Originally the bathroom, this small room is now used for storage. It needs redecorating as there are still tiles on the wall and unfinished areas where the previous bathroom suite had been.
Garden
The garden surrounds the house. There is a good sized lawn, with hedges around the boundary, making it feel private, a gravel area to one side and a continuation of the lawn to the other, where there is also a good lockable tool shed. The back garden faces south. To the front of the house is a parking area for a car and a small fenced front garden with a path leading to the front door.
The village is only a short drive to Poitiers, about 15 minutes, where there are all the major shops, international airport (Ryan Air flights) and the TGV station whisking you to Paris in 90 mins or Lille for easy connection by Eurostar to London.
This is a large house with a lovely garden which is low maintenance, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy an aperitif on the decking terrace. The village is set in rural open farming countryside, with cattle, wheat, maize and sunflowers the main crops, yet the quick and easy access to Poitiers make this a relaxing commute to work or to pop to the hypermarkets.
