| Situated off a quiet lane, on the edge of Céret, overlooking the river Tech, this semi detached house is half of an old Catalane mas that has been recently extended and renovated to a high standard to make a spacious main house on two floors with two apartments underneath.
The main house consists of: entrance into the dining room with a fully fitted kitchen area, separated from it by a bar. From the kitchen there is a small laundry/utility room. The centre of Céret is about 5 minutes drive for shops and a good market as well as schools and administration. Supermarkets and other ‘out of town’ shops are even closer as the house is close to the commercial centre.
The coast is about half an hour away with a choice of fine sandy beaches from Argelés northward or the rocky coves and fishing ports on the Cote Rocheuse, towards the Spanish border.
Céret is the gateway to the Vallespir – the valley of the river Tech which winds up towards the Spanish border and is a wonderful area for walking, bird watching and generally exploring.
Perpignan, the departmental capital, is about half an hour, and the nearest ski stations are within an easy drive along the Tet valley which runs west from Perpignan.
Airports at Perpignan and Girona, both Ryanair, make this area easily accessible from most places in Europe. There is a flight from Girona to Paris.
