In the hamlet you'll have bread, butchers, and grocery vans coming round a few times each week and in Bussiere Poitevine you'll find all amenities including the primary school. The larger towns of Bellac and Montmorillon are only a 15/20 minute drive away. There you'll find railway stations with connections to Limoges and Poitiers; large supermarkets, cinemas, theatres, swimming pools etc.
This area has much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast - good riding schools, excellent fishing, canoeing on the river Gartempe, lots of lovely walks etc.
It's only a 45 minute drive to Limoges airport. Poitiers airport is about an hours drive away, plus from Poitiers you can take the TGV train to Paris in only 90 minutes.
