This large stone farmhouse with attached stone barn needs renovation, but what a fantastic house it will be once finished. Set in a farming hamlet only 30 minutes from Limoges.
An original wooden door set in an ornately carved door lintel leads through into the entrance hall, this runs from front to rear of the house, to the right ois a room of some 20m2, with cellar access, to the left is the kitchen, with original fireplace and stone sink. This room is a little larger and has stairs leading to the first floor. Here you will find two bedrooms, one of 9m2 and the other of over 18m2. There is then and attic room of over 40m2 to the right at the top of the stairs. This would make a fantastic master bedroom suite. The roof is in relatively good condition throughout and has had recent work carried out to replace any rotten woodwork. Attached to the back of the house is the garden area of over 1700m2, this looks out over open countryside and would be large enough for a pool. There is also a small stone outbuilding attached at the rear too. Attached between the house and the barn is an old smoking room, so brick fireplace and old beams are all apparent. Then to the right of the house you have a large stone barn of over 170m2, this would make an ideal conversion project and would still leave a huge garage for you to store garden tools, car etc. In summary this is a complete renovation project, but it is getting increasingly hard to find good sized stone farmhouses
