The house is set well back from any roads and faces into its garden. There is a private parking area at the rear and also a separate access from the bottom of the garden too.
You enter into a very large living room of around 80m2. An l shaped room with the lounge at one end, and the dining room at the other, the study is within the L shape. There is a large stone fireplace at one end making a great feature. Lots of light floods in through the large French doors along the length of the room with views out over your garden.
A kitchen is set to the rear of the house and this offers a good sized area with room for a table.
There is also a downstairs toilet and shower room, ideal if you are coming in from the pool.
Hand cut granite stairs lead to the first floor where a wide landing leads to three large bedrooms; the first one is the master suite with double French doors looking out over the garden and a fantastic en-suite bathroom. Hardwood parquet floors are throughout too.
The second bedroom is a kids dream, this has been designed with its own mezzanine floor, so could make a dual level room.
Beyond this and the third double bedroom also has a view over the garden and an en-suite with dressing room.
There are also two separate toilets on the first floor, and a family bathroom.
Outside there is a paved terrace area, overlooking the garden and pool area. The garden is laid mainly to lawn with a few fruit trees and mature conifers. It also has a separate entrance at the bottom and I have been led to believe by the vendor this would allow for this end to be built on, so if you needed a second property for relatives, or wanted to sell of this parcel for building it could be done. Having over an acre of garden too means it wouldn’t be close to your house either.
The pool is a 12m x 6m in ground pool. The vendor has pointed out the pump and filter system are old and would probably need replacing so I would imagine you may be able to negotiate this within the price.
In summary a deceptive house in the centre of this very popular village with a large attached garden, swimming pool and private parking. Well worth a look.
