Habitable 4 bedroom house, attached 1/2 bed house for renovation and then two barns, set at the end of a lane in a quiet Limousin hamlet only 2 kms into a popular village.
This property is on the left as you enter the hamlet and sits at the end of the quiet lane. The habitable three bedroom house is to the right in the picture. You enter through the porch into a large kitchen/dining room of around 25m2, exposed beams and also feature fireplace maintain the character. To the left of the kitchen a door leads into the similar sized lounge and to the right is the family bathroom. A hallway leads off to the rear where you will find the WC and then a large utility room; this has plumbing for washing machine etc. Off the utility room you the enter the first bedroom, approximately 12m2 so large enough for a double bed and wardrobe etc, the window looks out over the garden to the rear. Back into the hallway and stairs lead to the first floor where you will find 3 more bedrooms; all big enough to be doubles. Original wide floorboards throughout. There are also beams hidden away too. There is then a loft room off the landing, this is not big enough to make into a bedroom but would make useful storage. This house needs basic modernization but is perfectly habitable. There is also a linking door into the first floor of the attached cottage for renovation; however I will describe this house from the front door. The entrance to the second house leads into a wide hallway with large main room to the left, this would have been the kitchen, and living room etc, there is then a large store room behind this that could become a separate lounge as this has a door to access the rear garden. Stairs lead from here to the first floor where you could create a bedroom and bathroom. This part is not really habitable currently but would be fairly easy to make into separate accommodation or join it to the main house to make a larger house. To the right of the house is an attached barn, with over 90m2 of floor area and double height, this also has a workshop area at the rear and access to the cellar under the main house. Opposite the house across the lane is the second barn, also just over 90m2; this would make a fantastic garage but may not lend itself for conversion. The land is set to the rear and opposite the house; you have a garden at the rear of the house of around 450m2, and a further 1500m2 opposite the house. There is also the possibility of buying this property with up to a further 3.5 hectares of land. Just ask for details. In summary this is a truly outstanding property for the price with a habitable four bedroom house, cottage to renovate, and two barns. Well worth a look.
