Outside, the pretty front garden leads around the house to the covered south facing terrace with its original hand pump for the well, a new modern loo, in its own wood cabin and plenty of room for dining al fresco, or just sampling the local wines. The rest of the garden leads round to the back of the house to the 2nd house and to the barn, huge hangar, old pig sties and a lawn plenty big enough to site a swimming pool, from this lawn you can see the river below and the fields between. You enter the gite by the double south facing patio doors into the large living room, with a large Godin wood burner, through a door is the kitchen, which would need little work to be useful and then brand new bathroom, with loo sink and bath. From the living room leads a stairway to the upstairs rooms, the first room is large, but doesnt have good headroom throughout the floor space, and the second a good sized double bedroom. The roof, electrics and fosse septic are all no more than 2 years old and there is a burglar alarm fitted. This is a very pretty house and viewing is a must to appreciate all the work that has been put into the renovation. The property would be ideal for someone wanting to live in an idyllic situation in a completely renovated property, with a wee house for the visitors to stay in; theyd be nearby, but not toooo close! Or a possibility to rent the gite for extra income.
