What a surprise to visit this house with large rooms built by the vendor's husband in the early 80's, with such exquisite craftsmenship. Outside there is a good sized garage and also a workshop, with the central heating unit. The garden needs augmenting, but is well sited around the house. This is a lovely private part of the world, woods everywhere, but is well placed for Brantôme and Nontron. There are shops and sights in both towns, the former being one of the premier small towns of the Dordogne, being known as the Venice of Perigord. The larger towns of Perigueux, Angoulême and Limoges are also easily accessible. The airports of Bergerac, Bordeaux, Limoges and Poitiers are easily accessible from this property. Also the TGV trains to Paris, Lille and London leave from the town of Angoulême Angoulême airport will be doing European fights soon, probably in spring 2008.
