Alternatively, to attract lets for a holiday home, the beautiful medieval towns of Moncontour (25mins) and Dinan (50 mins) are a delight to explore with Dinan having many shops, restaurants, galleries and a large weekly market . Lake de Guerladen, a spectacular lake with canoe and motor boat hire is just 25 minutes away. Loudeac (10 mins), Pontivy (25mins) and Rennes (1hr) also have much to offer and Les Aquatides swimming pool with flume in Loudeac is a great facility to have so close by.
Access is so easy, whether it's for you or your guests. About an hour away are the ferries of St Malo which arrive from Portsmouth, Poole and the Channel Islands or Dinard airport with its regular RyanAir flights from East Midlands, London, Birmingham and Bristol. If that's not enough, in easy reach are Roscoff, Brest, Rennes, Nantes, Caen and Cherbourg with a variety of ferries and flights from all over the UK; there are also TGV stations at Rennes and St Brieuc.
