One can also fly from between Newquay and St Brieuc with Airbus. If that's not enough, in easy reach are Roscoff, Brest, Rennes, Nantes, Caen and Cherbourg with a variety of ferries and flights from all over the UK; there is also a TGV service to Rennes which is an hour away and a TGV station at nearby Lamballe.
If you want to work then rapidly expanding Lamballe and St Brieuc are just two of your choices for cities to find your 'metier'. There are thousands of companies in the area and commerce and industry are growing steadily.
